Many of us are fortunate--we have jobs, financial stability, and safe homes. Unfortunately, many members of our community struggle daily in unsafe living environments.

RHGA serves low-income homeowners who are grateful to own their home but are challenged by the burden of maintenance and repairs that they cannot afford or perform themselves.

Thank you so much for modifying my mother's old tub so that she can now step in and safely shower! This will be so much better for her back than leaning over her sink to bathe! And that means fewer trips for me to take her to the chiropracter!!

Renewing Homes of Greater Augusta, is a volunteer-driven organization whose mission is

To accomplish, at no cost to the homeowner, critical home repairs and modifications for low-income elderly, disabled and disadvantaged homeowners that enable a Warm, Safe, Dry and Accessible living environment.

Last year, RHGA accomplished with generous support from local donors and grantors,

• and over 1000 hours of volunteer effort,
• home repairs and accessibility accomodations at 54 homes
• to improve the living environments for 95 individuals.
